How Jewellery changed my life

It was a huge honour to be named the winner by BBC Antiques Roadshow expert Joanna Hardy.

From Function to Fantasy: The Brooch

1st – 12th October 2025, 10:30am – 5pm
Wartski, 60 St. James’s Street, London SW1A 1LE

This special exhibition traces the story of the brooch from the Bronze Age to today, showcasing pieces on loan from institutions such as the V&A, the Fitzwilliam Museum, the Musée Lalique, the Schmuckmuseum, the National Trust, English Heritage, and the Goldsmiths’ Company. Many of the works will come from private collections.

The display will explore a broad range of styles and inspirations, including Royal, French Imperial, and Russian Imperial examples. Highlights will include brooches associated with figures such as Sarah Bernhardt, the Suffragettes, Sir Edward Burne-Jones, and Salvador Dalí, alongside works by leading jewellers of the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries.
