I recently had the pleasure of delving into the depths of the fascinating lace archives at Nottingham Trent University and Bonnington Gallery. It was an absolute feast for the eyes of any lacemaker and really showcased the extraordinary Nottingham lace making heritage. Just look at some of these sumptuous designs!
I also took a short trip to Nottingham's Industrial Museum. Now, if you like intricate industrial tools and machines, it's a pretty wondrous place to go. Here are a few pictures of some of the lacemaking machines to pique your interest!
